Contact Improvisation is an improvised dance for two or more people, built on a single point of contact that keeps moving. Weight travels through bone instead of being held by grip, and momentum gets followed rather than watched. There are no steps to learn first, which is why somebody who has never danced can be dancing properly inside the first hour, and no partner to bring.

The class series runs eight Fridays at Inner Motion Dance Studio, 216 NE 1st Ave, Hallandale Beach, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, from Friday 2 October 2026 to Friday 20 November 2026. Each class stands on its own, so dropping into any one of the eight works. The eight dates, what the classes cover and what they cost.
